Time as relative to death: an obsession with time, in futile attempts to remain in control of his obsession.
The White Rabbit rises and falls, mutilating himself in order to grasp the reins.
These desires and obsessions are personified by Alice, in constant
metal bounds of society and her wonderland, she is the White Rabbit's
superego.
The decrepit and patient Mad Hatter, hatless, is the neutral voyeur and ego.
A dance with death.
A frolic with time.
